Boston Scott was born on April 27, 1995, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to supporting parents Anthony Scott and Shelly Scott. He grew up with his older brother, Tony, and a sister Alana.

On August 31, 2019, the Eagles released Scott in the final roster cuts but were resigned from the practice squad the next day. 

He scored his first professional touchdown on a 4-yard run on October 27, 2019, when the Eagles defeated the Bills 31-13. 

Scott’s performance from the last season earned him the backup running back position for 2020. He made a game-winning touchdown from Carson Wentz in a 22-21 win against the Giants on October 22, 2020. 

On April 1, 2021, he signed a one-year exclusive-rights free agent tender with the Eagles. Likewise, Boston extended his stay with the Eagles on March 18, 2022.
